Fender Custom Limited Edition 1951 Telecaster Heavy Relic

Seventy years ago, in the autumn of 1951, the Telecaster model was born. An instrument that, like many inventions of the time, has firmly entered history and is still one of the most sought-after and played models today.

For 2021, the Fender Custom Shop pays tribute to the original design from 1951 with a limited edition available in various levels of Relic.

Technically, these instruments feature a selected ash body, a flamed AA maple neck with a quartersawn cut, a 10/56 "V" neck profile, a compound radius from 7.25" to 9.5", and 21 Narrow Tall frets.

The electronics consist of a pair of Fender Custom '50-'51 Blackguard Single Coils with Nocaster wiring (similar to the original, featuring a pot that functions as a Blender).
