Fender Custom 1963 Telecaster Relic Masterbuilt Jason Smith - SFASFG

A Masterbuilt instrument, for those who have kept it in their arms at least once, is something beyond the already execptional experience of a Fender Custom Shop Teambuilt.

It is a guitar so wild to be tamed, an instrument so comfortable that plays fast and sweet. It is an alchemical mix of several small details that make the difference.

This Telecaster based on the model in production in 1963 was built by the Senior Masterbuilder Jason Smith. Jason, for those unfamiliar with him, is a Custom Shop veteran and son of longtime Fender R&D legend Dan Smith. A guitar "guru" loved for his superb instruments and lovely Relic work. To mention some of the chosing Jason Smith: John 5, Michael Landau, Flea, Josh Klinghoffer, Geddy Lee, Steve Harris, Reggie Hamilton, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Neon Trees.

This 1963 Telecaster is an instrument built with selected materials, light and resonant, with a contemporary electronic configuration, featuring a great punch thanks to the Roasted AAA flamed maple neck.

The neck has a Mid 60's Oval "C" profile, which satisfies modern players, while the
frets are 21 Narrow Tall / 6105 with a 9.5" radius.

An extraordinary instrument that does not deserve further words. Better listen to it!
