It is useless to hide ourselves behind a finger! Anyone who is a little familiar with Fender history, at least the recent on, can only think of an artist looking at this wonderful Fender Custom Shop, and in particular of a Signature no longer available in the Fender catalog.

This Fender Custom 1962 Stratocaster Heavy Relic in Aged Black finish, made through the Custom Order program of the Fender Custom Shop, is a tribute to the guitar for long used by the famous guitarist John Mayer.

The result is truly amazing. The instrument is beautiful, as well as obviously playing divinely.

The specs are the much-loved marriage of vintage vibe and contemporary features. It features a traditional Alder body, maple neck with a fast Mid 60's Oval "C" profile, an hand selected rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges for maximum comfort and 9.5 "radius.

The electronics consist of a set of Fender Custom Handwound 60/63 Stratocaster Single Coil with modern wiring.
