Fender Custom 1960 Stratocaster Hardtail Time Capsule - SGM

This Fender Custom Shop was ordered through the Custom Order program based on our specifications. It is an early 60's Stratocaster featuring a Vintage Hardtail bridge, a feature that is being highly demanded lately among guitarists approaching Stratocaster.

The guitar features a great punch, given by the fixed bridge.

Let's dedicate a few words to the finish: Flash Coat Lacquer. A very thin layer of Lacquer, without relic treatment, which allows the instrument to resonate in an exceptional way. A finish so thin that in a short time it will age right under the hands of the guitarist, giving the instrument that authentically worn look.

Finally, the electronics consist of a set of Fender Custom Shop Handwound Poblano Stratocaster Single Coil, with the RWRP middle pickup. The tone is rich, warm, punchy: a real wall of sound.
