Part of the Inspired by Gibson Custom Collection, the Epiphone 1959 ES-355, produced in collaboration with Gibson Custom, is technically the best ES-355 ever made by Epiphone.
The Epiphone 1959 ES-355 features all the hallmark characteristics of the 1959 ES-355 in Epiphone's catalog. From the body crafted from laminated maple with a mahogany center block, to the mahogany neck with a SlimTaper profile, VOS nitrocellulose finish, and Gibson Custombucker pickups, this ES-355 is the ultimate expression of the Gibson tradition present in Epiphone's lineup.
In terms of electronics, it boasts a pair of Gibson Custombucker pickups, combined with CTS potentiometers, a Switchcraft selector, and Mallory capacitors: there’s truly nothing to "mod," as this guitar offers everything one could desire!
Further enhancing the instrument is a VOS finish, redesigned plastic parts to more closely resemble the originals, and a hard case from Epiphone.
