An instrument inspired by one of the wonderful guitars listed in the book "Slash - The Collection," specifically the one mentioned on page 298, the so-called "Olive Drab Wraptail," now presented in another historic color used by Slash, the Goldtop.

This is a 1954 Les Paul Standard featuring humbuckers and a wraparound bridge, delivering powerful attack and endless sustain.

This Gibson Custom Murphy Lab 1954 Les Paul Standard w/Humbuckers M2M Ultra Light Aged has been crafted as a special order through the Made 2 Measure program of the Gibson Custom Shop.

Essentially, it is an instrument with a 1954 setup, featuring a body without weight relief, a maple top, and a mahogany neck with a prominent Chunky "C" profile, but with the addition of a pair of humbuckers!

Like other guitars in the Murphy Lab Collection, it boasts an ultra-thin finish, particularly prone to showing signs of wear despite being a new instrument.
