The Epiphone 1963 Firebird V Maestro Vibrola Reissue is part of the Inspired by Gibson Custom Collection and offers a faithful recreation of the legendary Firebird V crafted in the Gibson Custom Shop—at a significantly more accessible price point.

Inspired by the iconic 1963 Firebird, this version pays tribute to the year the original model debuted, designed by legendary automotive designer Ray Dietrich, marking the birth of Gibson’s first neck-through-body guitar.

The body features a 9-ply mahogany and walnut neck-through construction with mahogany wings on both sides, while the neck sports a 1963 “C” profile true to the original specs.

The rosewood fingerboard is fitted with 22 Medium Jumbo frets and a 12" radius, delivering a natural playing feel that’s ideal even for extended sessions.

Electronics include a set of USA-made Gibson Firebird Mini Humbuckers with Alnico 5 magnets, wired to CTS® potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, and Switchcraft® components for a vintage-correct tonal character.

An Epiphone ABR-1 bridge and Epiphone Kluson “Banjo-style” Planetary tuners complete the setup, ensuring solid and reliable tuning stability over time.
