The Builder's Edition model from Taylor has been designed with the intention of elevating the guitar-playing experience to a new level, in terms of sound and instrument feel.

In terms of materials, this Builder's Edition features a V-Class bracing, solid maple back and sides, and a "torrified" spruce top.

The toasting process employed by Taylor for the spruce top gives the instrument a sound that is punchier, more dynamic, and more resonant. It achieves the instrument's full potential right from the start, as if it were a guitar that has been played for years.

The V-Class bracing is the innovative "V" bracing system conceived by the brilliant luthier Taylor Andy Powers.

This innovative bracing allows for overcoming the compromise between sustain and resonance that exists with the traditional "X" bracing. The "V" bracing enables the soundboard to move in sync with the strings, thereby increasing sustain without stiffening the structure, resulting in both high sustain and significant resonance.

The electronics feature the now-famous Taylor Expression System 2, a patented amplification system by Taylor that captures the guitar's sound with more naturalness and dynamism than any other piezo amplification system on the market.

Finally, the armrest, along with the "Silent Touch" satin finish and the rounded body, provides the instrument with an extraordinary feel and a highly refined aesthetic.
