This Les Paul Custom, equipped with an ebony fingerboard, is distinguished by a stunning Silver Sparkle finish.

The Les Paul Custom model, produced by the Gibson Custom Shop, has been one of the best-selling and most sought-after models in the Gibson catalog for decades.

It is one of the most elegant and representative instruments of the Nashville brand, as well as one of the most coveted.

The Les Paul Custom model was introduced in its current configuration with two humbucker pickups back in 1957. The guitar from that time, still in production today (Gibson Custom 1957 Les Paul Custom) - also known as "Black Beauty" - differs in some technical details from this version, which is more affordable and features a more modern setup.

The Gibson Custom Les Paul Custom features a mahogany body paired with a maple top, unlike the Black Beauty model which has a mahogany top. Sonically, the presence of maple provides greater brightness, translating into defined and open distorted tones.

Another difference can be found in the neck profile, which is smaller and more comfortable while still maintaining dimensions that ensure, along with the "long tenon" joint, excellent sound transmission and infinite sustain.

The pickups are a pair of Gibson 490R and 498T, respectively equipped with Alnico II and Alnico V magnets, capable of generating powerful, defined, and aggressive tones on overdrive, while also delivering a rich and warm sound on clean settings.
