The Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble maintains all the characteristics and performance of the Les Paul Standard 60s models, but with an even more pronounced vintage touch. This limited edition stands out for two main details.

The first pertains to the pickups: the Burstbucker™ 61R and Burstbucker 61T are uncovered, featuring Double Classic White coils and Alnico 5 magnets.

The second aspect is the finish. The colors are “Vintage” variants of classic nitrocellulose finishes. The standard glossy finishes replicate the appearance that new guitars had in the 1960s, while the Vintage finishes of the Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble are slightly faded compared to the standard versions, recreating the subtle natural aging of the paint over time.

Naturally, all the features that have made the Les Paul Standard 60s iconic remain: a solid non-weight-relieved mahogany body, a flamed AA maple top, a mahogany neck with a 60s SlimTaper profile, a rosewood fingerboard, 22 Medium Jumbo frets, and Trapezoid inlays.

The Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble is equipped with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and aged gold Top Hat knobs with numeric indicators.

The uncovered Burstbucker™ 61R and Burstbucker 61T pickups maintain the same characteristics as the standard Burstbucker 61s, with the exception of the Double Classic White coils. They are handcrafted in the Gibson Pickup Shop, equipped with Alnico 5 magnets and hand-wired with Audio Taper pots and Orange Drop® capacitors.

The combination of the Double Classic White coils and the Vintage finishes gives the Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble a unique vintage elegance. Despite the retro aesthetics and an accessible price, production is limited to only 500 pieces per color. Availability is limited, so "Buy today or cry tomorrow!"
