Gibson Custom 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard "Handpicked" M2M VOS - CSB

Every year we visit our friends at the Gibson Custom Shop, in Nashville, to select the best woods and create stunning and unique guitars through the Made 2 Measure program.

This 1959 Les Paul Standard comes in a "non standard" Cherry Sunburst, the same finish used on Collectors Choice CC#38, and features an amazing hand selected highly flamed top, with extreme 3-dimensional pattern.

To make the aesthetics of this guitar even more unique we decided to install a set of DiMarzio '59 PAF Replica with Double Cream™ color. DiMarzio has trademark on Double Cream™ color and this set of pickup is an amazing replica of the famous PAF “Patent Applied For” pickups installed on the original Les Paul from the 50's.

It is a super light and resonant instrument and features all the 2019 specs, such as the improved fretboard inlays, faithful in terms of aesthetics to those used in the 1950s, period-correct frets, all-hide glue construction, new Custom Bucker Alnico III Unpotted pickups and a set of Bumble Bee capacitors.
