Fender Custom 1958 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic - AOWT

This wonderful Fender Custom Shop guitar has a truly distinctive look, as well as remarkable technical features.

Crafted as a Custom Order by the Fender Custom Shop, this instrument features a traditional roasted alder body paired with a maple neck finished in "Medium Tint."

The finish, applied to the entire instrument, is the new "Flash Coat Nitro," an extremely thin type of lacquer that gives the guitar a vintage appearance, albeit not worn, while allowing it to resonate beautifully. This finish is so thin that it will tend to age quickly. In other words, it's ready to become a Relic in your hands!

In terms of the neck, it has a Mid '60s Oval "C" profile with rounded edges for maximum comfort, and it features Narrow Tall / 6105 frets with a 9.5" radius. The electronics consist of a set of warm and versatile Fender Custom Shop Handwound Ancho Poblano Stratocaster Single Coil pickups.
