Fender Custom 1955 Stratocaster Time Capsule - WB

This wonderful Fender Custom Shop instrument embodies the aesthetic principles of the Stratocaster produced in 1955, enriched with contemporary technical details and high-quality aesthetic features.

Crafted as a Custom Order by the Fender Custom Shop, this extraordinary guitar features a traditional two-piece ash body of infinite beauty, paired with a AAA flamed maple neck finished in "Medium Tint."

The finish applied to the entire instrument is the "Flash Coat Nitro," an extremely thin type of lacquer that gives the guitar a vintage look, while still appearing well-preserved, and allows it to resonate exceptionally well. This finish is so thin that it will tend to age quickly, meaning it is ready to become a Relic in your hands!

At the neck, you'll find a Mid '60s Oval "C" profile, a maple fingerboard with rolled edges, and Narrow Tall / 6105 frets with a 9.5" radius.

Finally, the electronics consist of a set of warm and versatile Fender Custom Shop Handwound Fat '60 Stratocaster Single-Coil pickups, featuring a reverse-wound, reverse-polarity center pickup.
