he Les Paul Standard is the flagship Gibson guitar. And the high-performance version is their most highly equipped model to ensure you can tackle any style of music or situation a musician may face whether that be playing live, recording in studio or practising at home.

The body is made from a single Mahogany back with the famous AAA+ flame Maple top to add brightness to the tone & beauty to its appearance. The neck is an asymmetrical slim-taper profile with a compound Richlite fingerboard to complete the classic Gibson formula. The 22 frets are cryogenically treated which ensures they'll remain hardy and strong for years to come and resist the wear and tear that normal frets face.

The neck join is the famous Gibson Access heel join which is contoured so that the body doesn't get in the way of your hand when playing the higher frets.

Burstbucker Rhythm Pro and Lead Pro+ pickups give this guitar its voice. These pickups are powerful and versatile and clean up beautifully when you roll off the volume. They truly shine when plugged into a bit of gain, giving you that gorgeous Les Paul mid-range punch.

You've also got 4 push-pull pots on the volume on tone to give you a wide variety of tones. You've got coil-tapping (or can access true coil split via a dipswitch inside the guitar), an out-of-phase sound for those Gary Moore tones and a blowout switch on the bridge tone control which will bypass the circuit board inside to give you a boosted guitar signal.

The aluminium hardware is complimented by the stunning locking kidney tuners. These tuners make it a breeze to re-string the instrument because you literally pull the string through the tuner, tighten the locking screw, tune the string and snip the loose end.
