This guitar was designed from the ground up with a real 60’s vibe in mind. The pickups are historically accurate Burstbucker pros, slightly underwound they have an airy tone to them that’s just great. They’ve got real depth and character, if you want to play soft jazzy chords with a really laid back twang you can, if you dial thing up for rock it sounds great and if you pile on the overdrive there’s no loss of articulation or tone. Gibson guitars are famous for being workhorses and this is no exception.

Semi hollow body guitars give you that great resonance that solid bodies just can’t replicate. The three piece Maple-Poplar-Maple construction gives you really good, bright tones. The slim tapered mahogany neck is comfortable and fast, just what you need for longer playing sessions if you’re switching between lead and rhythm playing.
Gibson really know how to finish off a great guitar, the smooth shine of this ebony finish is flawless. With 90 sheen gloss lacquer and an aged white binding, finished with nickel hardware it looks as close to an original 60’s Gibson as you can get without a time machine.
