New for 2014, the Fender Custom Shop introduces the 1956 Stratocaster with an Ash body. These light weight guitars are acoustically loud and resonant, play like butter, and sound even better than butter.

This year’s Relic guitar features a comfortable custom 10/56 “V” back neck shape with the perfect amount of meat on it. The 9.5” fingerboard radius combined with the 6105 tall skinny frets make this instrument a player’s dream, while the John Cruz Custom Shop pickups will make your ears smile. Thankfully, Fender equipped this guitar with a modern 5-way selector switch so you can get all your favorite Strat sounds right out of the case.
